The Service

Ghost Resume analyzes your résumé against a job description across a set of hiring checks and can generate AI-assisted rewrites tailored to that job. The Service is a tool to help you present your genuine experience more effectively. It does not guarantee any interview, job offer, or outcome.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Free scan and paid features

The résumé scan is available at no cost. AI rewrites, exports, and other premium features require a paid plan. Prices and features are described on our pricing page and may change over time.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Paid plans may be one-time or recurring as described at checkout. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your chosen payment method. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. You can cancel a subscription at any time, and access continues until the end of your paid period.

Accuracy and honesty of your résumé

We strongly recommend that you never lie, exaggerate, or misrepresent your experience, qualifications, credentials, or results on your résumé.

Ghost Resume is designed to surface your real, truthful value in the language employers and their systems look for — it is not a tool for fabrication. Submitting false or misleading information can seriously harm you. It may cause you to be disqualified from hiring processes, have an offer rescinded, be terminated, be sued, or face other legal, financial, and reputational consequences. In some contexts, misrepresentation can constitute fraud.

You are solely responsible for the content of your résumé and for reviewing, verifying, and approving every change before you use or submit it. Any AI-generated suggestion is a draft for your review, and you must ensure that everything you submit is accurate and truthful. You agree not to use the Service to create false or deceptive application materials, and you accept full responsibility for how you use anything the Service produces.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Resell or misuse the Service or its outputs in violation of these Terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of the résumé and other content you provide. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate and provide the Service, including sending it to the third-party providers described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Scores are our own estimates and do not represent any employer's actual applicant-tracking-system score or hiring decision. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will lead to any particular result.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ghost Resume and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, opportunities, or employment, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
